What is With Consent?
With Consent is an adult visual novel developed by JayW-NTS that explores the dynamics of a committed couple discovering new boundaries within their relationship. The game follows John, a software developer, and Sarah, a university student, who have built a loving partnership over nearly three years. When Sarah heads off for a weekend at the beach with friends, John begins experiencing vivid dreams that surface his hidden desires for sharing and voyeurism. Rather than hiding these urges, the couple confronts them together through open communication and mutual agreement.
The narrative emphasizes consent at every step, allowing players to guide the couple’s journey without deception or betrayal. Names of the protagonists can be customized, making the experience more personal. With Consent stands out in the netorase genre by focusing on trust, affection, and shared excitement instead of conflict or coercion.
Story and Characters in With Consent
The core story revolves around John and Sarah’s deepening exploration of non-monogamous fantasies. After Sarah’s beach trip, the couple begins discussing John’s dreams, leading to a series of consensual experiences that test and strengthen their bond. The writing highlights realistic dialogue, emotional vulnerability, and the importance of aftercare.
Customizable Protagonists
Players can rename both John and Sarah at the start, allowing the story to feel more intimate. Their personalities remain consistent: John as the thoughtful software developer with emerging voyeuristic interests, and Sarah as the curious, open-minded university student willing to experiment within agreed boundaries.
The plot branches according to player choices, with optional elements such as light humiliation available only if selected. Every new experience—whether swinging, exhibitionism, or group encounters—remains grounded in prior discussion and enthusiastic consent.
Gameplay Mechanics and Walkthrough Guide
With Consent uses a straightforward visual novel structure with multiple choice decisions that influence the couple’s path. Key mechanics include:
- Dialogue choices that affect future scene availability
- Consent meters that must remain in safe ranges to progress
- Optional kink toggles for humiliation, interracial themes, or intensity
- Multiple endings based on how the couple integrates their new experiences
